Simply play the file and XG will be reset. A common use case of this is to include it at the beginning of every song so that XG is reset upon playing each song intro thus preventing persistent parameter carrying forward into other songs.

Description

Load these .Q1P or .syx (SysEx) files onto your Yamaha QY70 or QY100 while in pattern mode or insert as a pattern into song mode.

These files reset XG Mode. This is can be an important reset to carry out as many parameter changes can persist across multiple patterns and songs on the device causing them to sound different than expected if XG hasn’t been reset. If you find yourself using a lot of persistent parameters and don’t want to manually reset XG in Edit Mode or reset your device to clear persistent settings, this file will come in handy.

Included is a readme which should cover any questions that may arise.
