Description
808SUB attempts to imitate the iconic 808 sub/808 kick sound of the Roland TR-808 used heavily in modern Hip-Hop, Pop, and EDM tracks. The user pattern consists of a long release percussive sound played at a lower register to create a booming sub bass sound. The sound can be further tweaked by turning up the variation effect knob (which is set to overdrive), by adjusting the release, cutoff, and resonance, or any other variety of parameters and effect sends to sculpt the texture of the sub bass. It is even possible to achieve pitch slides between notes by turning on the portamento settings on the track.
