Description
Load these .Q1P style files onto your Yamaha QY100 while in pattern mode. Playing these patterns will globally reconfigure the track settings across the entire device.
What each file does:
- $MON-D1 – changes track D1 to be Monophonic (normally it is Polyphonic)
- $MON-D2 – changes track D2 to be Monophonic (normally it is Polyphonic)
- $MON-PC – changes track PC to be Monophonic (normally it is Polyphonic)
- $MON-BA – changes track BA to be Monophonic (normally it is Polyphonic)
- $MON-C1 – changes track C1 to be Monophonic (normally it is Polyphonic)
- $MON-C2 – changes track C2 to be Monophonic (normally it is Polyphonic)
- $MON-C3 – changes track C3 to be Monophonic (normally it is Polyphonic)
- $MON-C4 – changes track C4 to be Monophonic (normally it is Polyphonic)
- $MON-ALL – changes track ALL to be Monophonic (normally it is Polyphonic)
The global changes can be undone by resetting the QY100 or executing the Polyphonic SysEx message.
While a track is set to Monophonic, it will only play one note at a time. If you press multiple keys, only the most recent note will play. These are great for lead lines, basslines, and expressive playing.
