This particular Shepard Tone spans 8 measures, rising 12 semitones per note, the notes are held for a smoother transition that only retriggers at the beginning of the first measure making it easier to work into an already playing pattern loop.
By default the Shepard Tone used the note C as it’s home, but it’s reharmonization setting have been enabled, so if you change the key of the song, the home note will also change to match. You may also transpose the Shepard Tone if you desire a different note while maintaining the current key.
