Load this .Q1P style file onto your Yamaha QY100 in Pattern mode to access this amazing Shepard Tone audio illusion. This audio illusion sounds like it is infinitely descending, making it perfect for building tension in your songs.
This particular Shepard Tone spans 8 measures, descending 12 semitones per note, and consists of repeated notes which evens out the overall timbral flow allowing for a wide range of instruments to be swapped in.
By default the Shepard Tone used the note C as it’s home, but it’s reharmonization setting have been enabled, so if you change the key of the song, the home note will also change to match. You may also transpose the Shepard Tone if you desire a different note while maintaining the current key.
